About this project
Puerto Colon, located in the Panama Canal, is one of the world’s most transited cargo ports. Due to its important placement for international commerce the port required the modernization of its lighting installation.
Mast lighting
LIC Sustainable Solutions provided 35-meter-high mast lighting. Shining continuous, bright, evenly distributed light without hot spots.
This luminaire is not only a more efficient alternative to traditional lamps but also compatible with the LIC Mesh system for remote and automated management, which saved 71% of the cost the port had before installation.
